INTRODUCTION:
Melbourne Land Surveyors (MLS) is a relatively new business established in mid 2015. The company was a result of a merge between Accurate Land Surveyors (Main Company – started 2005) and South East Surveys (2009). With over 40 years experience from staff around the world, MLS understands today’s requirements to successfully carry out any project to the highest quality and efficiency.
Our first office was established in Melbourne and then Ballarat (now closed); we have just opened a new office in Geelong in 2008.
Melbourne Land Surveyors will continue to grow its business with its clients throughout Victoria and Australia wide.
Melbourne Land Surveyors provide and extensive range of services to individuals, small companies, major corporations, government, planners, solicitors, real estate agents, engineers, construction contractors and land developers.
We deal with all types of development from Residential, Industrial and Commercial.
No project is too small or too large, with all projects carried out with the same level of competency, efficiency and pride.

CAPABILITIES:
MLS staff are appropriately qualified to meet clients surveying, construction, town planning and development requirements. We have licensed surveyors from Victoria who have dealt with both small and large scale projects.
Our offices and field parties are equipped with the latest measuring
equipment and computer programs; this in turn provides substantial time and cost savings to our clients.
Our up to date knowledge and ongoing professional development allows us to provide a variety of services to our clients with confidence.
We use both LisCad and AutoCAD programs along with standard Windows and Office programs. As these programs are utilised throughout the spatial industry, these seem to be regarded as the most common and preferred programs.
Our field equipment is transported around in Ford Territories and is one of the most up to date Leica fully Robotic Total Station and GPS. This allows for the most efficient and accurate collection of data.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT:
MLS had developed its professional skills based on many years experience, qualifications and the ongoing professional developments within it company.
MLS has its own internal quality management system involving
comprehensive checklists throughout all projects and stages of surveying. This documentation is recorded and archived as necessary, by regulatory requirements.
The quality management system with continue to evolve and develop inline with industry standards and client expectations.
OCCUPATION HEALTH & SAFETY:
MLS have developed its own OH&S Manual with regards to Policies,
Procedures, Forms, Work Instructions, Manuals and Job Descriptions. Staff with MLS have obtained many safety tickets:

- Rail Safety Awareness (VIC) Level 1 – Basic Track Safety Induction
- Shell & Ford Site Safety Induction
- Many site specific safety inductions
